With Halloween only a few days away we just couldn’t help but post these amazing, err, alarming stats posted by CNN on how much Americans will spend on Halloween this year.

Americans will spend this Halloween (2015)

 Americans will spend on average $74.34 this Halloween on candy, costumes and decorations.

 Over $6.9 billion will be spent this Halloween.

 Horror movies grossed over $255 million on horror films in 2014.  But the number one Halloween movie of all time is Charlie Brown’s “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!”

 Americans will spend over $350 million on costumes for their pets.

 Some other stats on Halloween.

 Over 49.5 acres of pumpkins will be harvested.

 Over 41.2 million Americans will trick or treat.

 The witch costume has made the top Halloween costume(s) for over 11 years running.
