The weekends can get pretty boring if you don’t have a plan. And if you have children, you know how restless they can be. For those people looking for some weekend fun near their Woodland Hills apartment, here is a quick look at a few awesome events happening this Saturday and Sunday in your neighborhood.

Saturday, Nov. 5
8:30 a.m. — An all female exercise group meets every Saturday at the West Valley Christian Church, 22450 Sherman Way, West Hills.

8:30-9:30 a.m. — Julie Segovia Rowland instructs a yoga group at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 23838 Kittridge St. The classes are free but donations are requested (also please come dress appropriately).

9 a.m.-noon — Home Depot Veterans Day workshops for kids ages 5-12 located at  22855 Victory Blvd., West Hills.  

Sunday, Nov. 6
2 a.m. — Do not forget to set your clocks back with Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday morning.
 
10 a.m.-5 p.m. — Dia De Los Muertos family festival presented by The Canoga Park/West Hills Chamber of Commerce. The event takes place on Sherman Way between Canoga Avenue and Topanga Canyon Boulevard. For more details: (818) 884-4222.
