The holidays are a tough time to embark on an exercise plan. There are parties, dinners, and various events to attend, and most times exercise and health get put on the back burner. But not this year. This year we resolve to stay on course and not gain any extra holiday weight. Here are a few ways to stay on course.
Find a partner: finding an accountability partner is the easiest way to stay motivated to work out. You can do this many ways: one is by linking up with a friend who has the same goals or you can join Facebook group and stay motivated at way.
Make it a treat: find a great podcast or audiobook and only listen to it when you are working out. If you are listening to something interesting, working out will turn into a fun little treat because you can listen to it.
Use technology: there are a million great exercise apps out there that can keep you on track. Grab a calorie counter, step counter and running app and get going.
