Super Bowl Party Ideas

The big game is just around the corner and you have decided to watch the game in your West Hills apartment.

Here are some ideas on no (or easy) cook Super Bowl party ideas.

Chips, Salsa, and Guacamole are a perfect choice for a game time snack. You can purchase guacamole from your local super market, Mexican restaurant or make your own. Either way it is a crowd pleaser.

Try chicken nachos for an easy and filling treat. It is simple to make and serve.

Shopping List:

  • Tortillas
  • Salsa or Barbeque Sauce
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Pre-Roasted Rotisserie Chicken
  • Scallions

Recipe:

  • Turn the oven on to 400 degrees.
  • Line a pizza pan or other pan with aluminum foil. Layer chips with tortillas, shredded chicken and cheese.  Once the cheese is melted add barbeque sauce, sour cream, and scallions.
  • Sliders are popular these days, so why not make them with store bought meatballs by heating meatballs in your favorite sauce and serve them on small buns!
  • Spinach dip is a go to game classic, but you can turn it up a notch by slicing and caramelizing onions. Serve it with veggies, chips or bread!

A punch is the perfect easy drink for your Super Bowl Party. Try this one and make sure you have designated drivers for the big celebration.

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of vodka (I like Tito’s)
  • 3 bottles of beer (Corona is pretty good!)
  • 3 (1 liter) bottles of club soda
  • 3 sliced limes

Add the vodka, beer, and club soda and mix well.  Pour into a punch bowl or large pitcher and add the limes.  Serve with ice.  (Courtesy of the Neelys)
