West Hills Living: Hosting the Perfect Halloween Party

  |     |   Uncategorized

Hosting any type of party is hard. Decorating, buying food, and coming up with fun things to do is stressful all on its own. Now throw in Halloween into the mix and the thought of throwing a Halloween party might be scarier than any ghoul or ghost. However, we know life is stressful, so this week’s blog consists of a few ideas for making your Halloween party great!

Pumpkin bowls: you can use pumpkins in so many ways during Halloween. You can purchase a few small ones, clean them out and then use them as cups. Or if you want to go simple take a large one, clean it out and use it as a punch or cocktail bowl. Your guest should be impressed.

Scary movie: why not make your party a scary movie night? Pick a classic horror film and turn your living room into a theater around 9pm and have some spooky fun with your guest. You can hand out glow sticks to really create a Halloween vibe.

Glow in the dark Jenga: games are always awesome at any party. But why not make them a bit scarier for Halloween? If Jenga is your game, try grabbing some glow in the dark paint and using it on the pieces. Then turn out the lights and let your guest play.
