Make Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms for Your NYE Party

Who needs a tasty snack for New Year’s Eve? Well, in this week’s blog we have a wonderful sausage stuffed mushroom recipe that will knock your socks off. Here it is:

Ingredients
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
24 stuffing mushroom caps, Salt and pepper

Stuffing Mix:
1 1/2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 pound sweet Italian sausage
4 cloves of garlic
20 chopped mushrooms stems
1 rib of celery
1/2 small onion
1/2 small red bell pepper
10-ounce box of frozen spinach
3 slices of white bread
1/3 cup of grated Parmigiano or Romano cheese

This recipe has quite a few steps and if you get lost, check the link below to get a full set of instructions. Start by preheating your oven to 500 degrees. Throw in the oil, mushroom caps, salt and pepper. Saute everything for 7 minutes and drain the juice.

Put the caps onto a baking sheet and let them cool. Next cook the sausage on the skillet for around 3 minutes. Chop up the garlic and mushroom stems in a food processor along with the celery, onion and bell pepper.

Sautee the mix in the saucepan for 5 minutes then throw in the defrosted spinach mix. Next combine everything into the stuffing. Now fill your mushroom caps and bake in the oven for 8 minutes. All you have to do next is serve and eat!
