Head to the Water

Sure, you can watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. It really is amazing. But you can do better without spending a lot. The Ventura Harbor Cruise features local musician Steven Sunnarborg (doesn’t that just sound like he should be strumming a guitar on a boat with that name?) and a bar, so you can sip on a cocktail while watching the sunset from sea.

Dinner Yourself

Nothing says you can’t prepare dinner yourself. That might be the best course of action. It shows thought, dedication and effort. Plus you can throw it together last minute.
